Bariatric Seed Trick Recipe That Actually Works: My Daily Ritual for Cravings, Digestion & Weight Loss

A proven fiber-based chia and flax drink that helps reduce cravings, support digestion, and regulate blood sugar levels—ideal for post-bariatric recovery and long-term weight management.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed (freshly ground preferred)
  • ½ teaspoon ginger powder or ½ inch fresh grated ginger
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk or lemon water
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (optional)
  • 12 drops stevia or ½ teaspoon raw honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a mason jar or sealable container.
  2. Shake vigorously or stir well to combine.
  3. Let the mixture soak for 30–60 minutes (or overnight) to allow seeds to expand.
  4. Stir again before drinking and consume slowly.

Notes

Always soak seeds before consuming. Start with 1 teaspoon chia seeds if new to high-fiber foods. Store soaked mixture in fridge for up to 5 days. Use warm lemon water in cooler weather for added digestive support.
