- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup jam or Nutella
- Chocolate cream for swirling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a big bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
- Fill each muffin cup halfway with batter.
- Add a spoonful of jam or Nutella into the center of each cup, then cover with the remaining batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once cool, swirl chocolate cream on top of each cupcake for decoration.
- Serve and enjoy your Bat Cupcakes!
Notes
For creative serving, add bat-shaped decorations or spooky sprinkles. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
