Pumpkin Spice Latte

A cozy and creamy Pumpkin Spice Latte made with real pumpkin puree and warm spices – better than Starbucks and fully customizable right at home.

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup strong hot coffee or 2 shots espresso
  • 2 cups milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, plus more for topping
  • Whipped cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine milk, pumpkin puree, and sugar. Heat gently over medium heat until hot and steaming, but not boiling.
  2. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and hot coffee or espresso until smooth and frothy.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness or spice level to your preference.
  4. Pour into two mugs, top with whipped cream, and sprinkle with extra pumpkin pie spice. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use real pumpkin puree for the best flavor and creaminess. Avoid boiling the milk to prevent curdling. For a frothy finish, use a milk frother or French press.
