- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or crushed crackers for coating
- Crackers, bread, or veggies for serving
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Mix until well blended, then fold in green onions and crumbled bacon (if using).
- Shape the mixture into a ball and wrap it tightly in plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld and the cheese ball to firm up.
- Before serving, roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans or crushed crackers for added texture.
- Place on a serving platter and serve with crackers, bread, or vegetables.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding a dash of hot sauce or smoked paprika to the cheese mixture.
