- 16 oz. fresh strawberries
- 8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional for drizzle)
- 3/4 tsp coconut oil (optional for drizzle)
Instructions
- Clean the strawberries thoroughly under cold water or soak in a vinegar solution if conventionally grown.
- Dry the strawberries gently with paper towels.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil. Heat in 20-second intervals until smooth.
- Alternatively, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil over a simmering water bath.
- Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, coating nearly to the top, and allow excess to drip off.
- Place dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Refrigerate for about 15 minutes to let chocolate harden.
- (Optional) For a drizzle, melt additional chocolate chips with coconut oil, transfer to a resealable bag, and drizzle over hardened strawberries.
- Store finished strawberries in an airtight container in the fridge.

Best enjoyed within 12 hours after making. Do not freeze.
