Christmas Cranberry Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef (or turkey), breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until evenly distributed.
  2. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet, leaving space between.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the meatballs for 20 minutes until cooked through.
  4. In a saucepan, mix cranberry sauce and BBQ sauce over medium heat until warm, stirring occasionally.
  5. Once the meatballs are cooked, toss them in the warm sauce until well-coated.
  6. Transfer the meatballs to a serving plate and enjoy warm.
