Halloween Eyeball Cupcakes

Delicious red velvet cupcakes decorated to look like creepy eyeballs, perfect for Halloween festivities.

  • 1 Backmischung Red Velvet Cake von Teasty Me
  • Butter
  • 4 Eier
  • 1 Fertigmischung Creme Fantasique von Teasty Me
  • 100 ml Milch
  • 200 g Fondant weiß
  • 50 g Fondant bunt nach Wahl
  • 20 g Fondant schwarz
  • Lebensmittelsäfte
  • Piping Gel

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the cake mix package.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs and melted butter with the cake mix. Mix until smooth for about 5 minutes.
  3. Line the muffin tin with cupcake liners and pour the cake batter into each cup, leaving space at the top.
  4. Bake according to the cupcake size and let them cool on a cooling rack.
  5. In a clean bowl, add the cream mix and milk. Whip together until reaching a buttercream-like consistency.
  6. Fill a piping bag with the topping cream and pipe onto the cooled muffins.
  7. Knead white fondant with CMC, roll into balls, and create the eye shapes with colored and black fondant for the iris and pupil.
  8. Use food-safe markers to add details to the iris.
  9. Apply piping gel for a shiny effect and paint with red food coloring for veins.
  10. Scoop a bit from the center of each cupcake to make space for the eyeball decoration and place it on top.

Notes

These cupcakes are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
