Crockpot Mississippi Pot Roast

A tender and flavorful chuck roast slow-cooked with ranch dressing and au jus gravy, perfect for busy weeknights or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 34 pounds chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 68 pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chuck roast in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
  3. Place the pepperoncini peppers on top of the roast.
  4. Cut the butter into slices and place on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 480 minutes or high for 300 minutes, until the meat is tender.
  6. Shred the meat with two forks and serve with the juices.
