Ingredients
Scale
- 3–4 pounds chuck roast
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 6–8 pepperoncini peppers
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chuck roast in the crockpot.
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
- Place the pepperoncini peppers on top of the roast.
- Cut the butter into slices and place on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 480 minutes or high for 300 minutes, until the meat is tender.
- Shred the meat with two forks and serve with the juices.

The pot roast can be served in various ways, including over mashed potatoes, in sandwiches, or on salads.
