- 1 package (11 ounces) vanilla wafers, crushed
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 5 tablespoons baking cocoa
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed vanilla wafers, chopped pecans, and melted butter. Mix well.
- Take half of the crumb mixture and press it into the bottom of a 13×9 inch dish.
- Freeze the crust for 30 minutes.
- Spread the softened vanilla ice cream over the crust evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the ice cream, pressing down slightly.
- Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours.
- In a small saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, and flour. Stir in milk until smooth.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly for about 2 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in softened butter.
- When ready to serve, cut the dessert into squares and drizzle with warm chocolate sauce.

You can customize the ice cream flavor and add toppings like fruits or whipped cream.
