Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups white chocolate chips (about 18 ounces)
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- A small pinch of fine sea salt
- 1 and 1/2 cups gumdrops, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch or powdered sugar (for dusting chopped gumdrops)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment, leaving overhang on two sides for easy lifting. Lightly grease the parchment.
- Chop the gumdrops and toss with cornstarch or powdered sugar to keep them separate.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir until smooth. Alternatively, microwave in 30 second bursts, stirring in between.
- Remove from heat, then stir in vanilla and a small pinch of salt. Fold in about two thirds of the gumdrops.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Press the remaining gumdrops into the surface.
- Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours until firm. Lift out by the parchment and slice into squares.
