Dump and Go Crockpot Teriyaki Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • Rice or noodles (for serving)
  • Green onions (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours) or high for 180 minutes (3 hours) until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir to combine with the sauce.
  6. Serve over cooked rice or noodles and garnish with sliced green onions if desired.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
