- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Rice or noodles (for serving)
- Green onions (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a small bowl, mix together teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours) or high for 180 minutes (3 hours) until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and stir to combine with the sauce.
- Serve over cooked rice or noodles and garnish with sliced green onions if desired.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
