Ingredients
Scale
- 6 mint leaves
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 2 oz cranberry juice
- 1 oz apple cider or apple juice
- 0.5 oz lime juice
- Sparkling water or ginger beer (to top)
- Splash of apple cider vinegar (optional)
- Pinch of icing sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Clap mint leaves in your hands and add to a shaker with the maple syrup.
- Press down gently a couple of times with a muddler to bruise the mint slightly.
- Add lime juice, cranberry juice, apple juice, and some ice to the shaker, then shake well.
- Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with cranberries, mint, or lime.
- If desired, dust with icing sugar for a snow effect.
- Top with sparkling water or ginger beer before serving.
Notes
For a lighter option, use sparkling water instead of ginger beer. Can be adjusted to be diabetic-friendly by swapping the maple syrup for a sugar-free sweetener.
