Easy Holiday Mocktail

A bright, fizzy drink combining cranberry, apple, lime, and mint for a refreshing, alcohol-free holiday treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 2 oz cranberry juice
  • 1 oz apple cider or apple juice
  • 0.5 oz lime juice
  • Sparkling water or ginger beer (to top)
  • Splash of apple cider vinegar (optional)
  • Pinch of icing sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Clap mint leaves in your hands and add to a shaker with the maple syrup.
  2. Press down gently a couple of times with a muddler to bruise the mint slightly.
  3. Add lime juice, cranberry juice, apple juice, and some ice to the shaker, then shake well.
  4. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
  5. Garnish with cranberries, mint, or lime.
  6. If desired, dust with icing sugar for a snow effect.
  7. Top with sparkling water or ginger beer before serving.

Notes

For a lighter option, use sparkling water instead of ginger beer. Can be adjusted to be diabetic-friendly by swapping the maple syrup for a sugar-free sweetener.
