Easy Virgin Margarita Mocktail

A fresh, tangy mocktail with lime, orange, and grapefruit, using sparkling water for a light and healthy refreshment.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 oz lime juice (freshly squeezed or bottled)
  • 1 oz grapefruit juice (optional)
  • 1 oz orange juice (freshly squeezed or bottled)
  • 4 oz lime sparkling water
  • 0.5 oz agave
  • 1 oz alcohol-free tequila (optional)
  • Fresh lime (to garnish)
  • Salt (for optional rim)

Instructions

  1. To create the optional salt rim, place about 1/2 teaspoon of salt into a shallow dish. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and press gently into the salt, then shake off any excess salt.
  2. In a shaker, combine the lime juice, orange juice, grapefruit juice (if using), non-alcoholic tequila (if using), and agave with ice cubes.
  3. Shake for 15-20 seconds, then strain into your glass over fresh ice.
  4. For a sparkling version, top with lime sparkling water.
  5. Garnish with fresh lime and serve.

Notes

To reduce calories, use sugar-free sweetener instead of agave.
