- 1 small lime
- 8 to 10 mint leaves
- 1 ounce elderflower cordial or syrup
- 1 cup soda water or plain kombucha
- 1 ounce non-alcoholic rum or splash of apple cider vinegar (optional)
- Mint, edible flowers, or lime to garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Muddle the lime: Start by chopping the lime into small pieces. Place the lime pieces in your glass and muddle until the juice is released.
- Prepare the mint: Clap the mint leaves together in your hands a few times and add them to the glass. Gently press down with the muddler.
- Add ice: Fill your glass with ice until it’s generously packed.
- Pour in the elderflower syrup or cordial over the ice.
- Mix in the spirit: Add the non-alcoholic rum or apple cider vinegar if desired.
- Top off with soda water or kombucha and stir gently.
- Garnish with mint, edible flowers, or a slice of lime. Serve immediately.
Notes
This mocktail is best enjoyed fresh but can be prepared ahead for convenience.
