Instructions
- Start by preparing your ingredients. Cut the onion into wedges.
- Place the mixed dried fruit and onion wedges in the slow cooker.
- Pour the unsweetened apple juice over the fruit and onion.
- Next, take the boneless beef chuck roast and place it on top of the fruit mixture.
- Sprinkle the salt, ground allspice, and pepper over the roast.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours until the meat is tender.
- Once cooked, serve the beef with the fruit mixture on the side.
