Ingredients

- 1 pound oyster mushrooms (sliced or whole)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (vegan as desired)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 large cloves of garlic (minced or pressed)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)
- Optional splash of white wine (about 1 tablespoon)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Clean the mushrooms with a wet paper towel, being careful not to rinse them.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the butter and olive oil, then add the mushrooms in an even layer. Let them caramelize for about 3 minutes.
- Stir and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Pour in the wine (if using) and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Stir in the garlic and parsley and cook for 1 additional minute.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve and enjoy!

Great as a side dish or appetizer. Can be served on rice, pasta, or toasted bread.
