Giant Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop Tart

A warm, giant brown sugar cinnamon pop tart that is shareable, cozy, and easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup brown sugar (for filling)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, cold butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix until crumbly. Add cold water and form into a dough, then chill for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle.
  4. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in another bowl for the filling. Spread half of the mixture over one half of the rolled dough.
  5. Fold the other half of the dough over the filling, sealing the edges.
  6. Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle with the remaining sugar.
  7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown. Let cool before slicing.

Notes

For a healthier version, use Greek yogurt instead of glaze. You can also modify for lower sugar or high-protein options.
