- 4 cups green beans (fresh, canned, or frozen)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) creamy mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/3 cups crispy fried onions
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Add the green beans and mix until they are well coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, stir, and then top with crispy fried onions.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the onions are golden brown and the casserole is bubbling.
- Serve hot as a side dish.
Notes
For best results, use a shallow baking dish so the casserole heats evenly. Add any desired toppings just before serving for added crunch.
