Green Bean Casserole

A comforting and creamy green bean casserole, perfect for weeknight dinners or holiday tables.

Ingredients

  • 1 can green beans
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup French fried onions
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and milk.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Stir in half of the French fried onions.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  6. Top with the remaining French fried onions and shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is bubbling and the cheese is melted.

Notes

You can mix the casserole ahead of time and bake just before serving for convenience.
