- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup French fried onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the green beans in boiling water for about 5 minutes, then drain.
- In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the cooked green beans and half of the French fried onions.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and top with the remaining French fried onions.
- Bake for an additional 10 minutes until the onions are golden brown.
Notes
For a richer flavor, add cheese or sautéed mushrooms. You can also use frozen green beans.
