Halloween Mummy Cupcakes

Delicious and festive Halloween-themed cupcakes decorated to look like mummies, perfect for parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of chocolate cupcake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)
  • 1 can of white frosting
  • 1 cup of mini chocolate chips
  • Candy eyes
  • Optional: sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature listed on the cupcake box.
  2. Line your cupcake tin with cupcake liners.
  3. In a mixing bowl, follow the instructions on the cupcake mix box. Mix the batter well.
  4. Pour the batter into each liner, filling about 2/3 full.
  5. Place the tin in the oven and bake for the time listed on the box.
  6. Once baked, take them out and let them cool completely.
  7. Spread white frosting on top of each cupcake.
  8. Create ribbons across the cupcake to look like mummy wraps using a piping bag.
  9. Place two candy eyes on each cupcake.
  10. For added fun, sprinkle colorful sprinkles on top if desired.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature. They can be frozen without frosting for up to a month.
