- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- Food coloring (orange, black, and green for decoration)
- Frosting of your choice (store-bought or homemade)
- Halloween-themed decorations (candies, sprinkles, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake tin with cupcake liners.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together.
- In another bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing them in well. Pour in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture, alternating with milk, and mix until smooth.
- Divide the batter into smaller bowls and add food coloring to create different colors.
- Fill the cupcake liners about 2/3 full with the batter.
- Bake for about 18-20 minutes, testing with a toothpick for doneness.
- Cool for 5 minutes in the tin, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
- Frost with your choice of frosting and decorate with Halloween-themed decorations.
Notes
Serve with pumpkin spice lattes or hot cocoa for a cozy touch. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
