Herb Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons fresh sage, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 4 cups soft bread cubes
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and celery. Sauté until the vegetables are soft, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, sautéed vegetables, and chopped fresh herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Gradually add vegetable broth to the mixture. Stir until the bread is moist but not soggy.
  5. Transfer the stuffing to a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes until golden brown on top.
  7. Serve warm alongside your holiday meal.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Freeze for longer storage.
