  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup French fried onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blanch the green beans in boiling water for about 5 minutes, then drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir in the green beans until well coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with French fried onions.

  7. Serve warm.

Notes

For best results, add fried onions in the last 5–10 minutes of baking to prevent sogginess.
