- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup French fried onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blanch the green beans in boiling water for about 5 minutes, then drain.
- In a large bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the green beans until well coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with French fried onions.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
For best results, add fried onions in the last 5–10 minutes of baking to prevent sogginess.
