- 250 g pizza dough (about 1 dough ball or flatbread)
- 60 g crème fraîche or ranch dressing (¼ cup)
- 120–150 g shredded mozzarella cheese (1 to 1 ½ cups)
- 80 g dill pickle slices (10–12 thin slices, patted dry)
- 15 g garlic butter or olive oil (1 tbsp, for brushing crust or drizzling)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill or parsley (optional garnish)
- Red pepper flakes / grated parmesan – optional for extra flavor
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll dough into a 12-inch round and transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet, stone, or steel. Brush edges lightly with olive oil or garlic butter.
- Spread a thin, even layer of crème fraîche, ranch, or garlic sauce. Don’t overdo it—too much sauce = soggy crust.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly. Add a little parmesan for extra depth.
- Arrange thin dill pickle slices evenly. Patting them dry prevents excess moisture.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese bubbles.
- Drizzle with garlic butter or olive oil. Sprinkle with fresh dill or red pepper flakes. Slice and enjoy hot!
Notes
Use pizza stone (10–12 min), pizza steel (8–10 min), or sheet pan (12–15 min) depending on desired crust. Pat pickles dry and use low-moisture mozzarella to avoid soggy base. Try swaps like naan, sourdough, or cauliflower crust for variations.
