- 2 lbs extra lean ground beef
- ¼ cup avocado oil mayonnaise
- ¼ cup unsweetened ketchup
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese (divided)
- 1 tbsp mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Spray a 2-quart baking dish with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little olive oil.
- Add chopped onions to the skillet and sauté until they are tender.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet with the onions. Cook the beef until browned and drain any excess liquid.
- Stir in salt, pepper, minced garlic, ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
