- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 2 teaspoons red curry paste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Add ground beef, cooking until browned and no longer pink; drain excess fat.
- Stir in red curry paste, soy sauce, fish sauce, salt, and pepper; mix until combined.
- In a large baking dish, layer chopped cabbage evenly on the bottom.
- Pour beef mixture on top of cabbage, spreading it out evenly.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
Notes
For a complete meal, serve with a side salad or steamed vegetables.
