Keto Low Carb Beef and Broccoli

A delicious low-carb dish featuring tender beef and fresh broccoli in a savory sauce, perfect for keto diets.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb flat iron steak (or flank/sirloin), thinly sliced against the grain
  • ¼ cup coconut aminos
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • ¼ cup coconut oil (or avocado oil)
  • ½ lb broccoli florets (with sliced stems if desired)
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil (added at the end)
  • 1 tsp fish sauce (or ½ tsp soy sauce + pinch salt)
  • Toasted sesame seeds for garnish
  • Sliced green onions for garnish
  • Cauliflower rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl or ziplock bag, combine steak, coconut aminos, garlic, and ginger. Let sit for 20 minutes (or up to 2 hours refrigerated).
  2. Heat your skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add coconut oil. Add the beef in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes without stirring.
  3. Flip the beef and sear the other side for another 1–2 minutes, then remove to a plate, keeping the juices.
  4. In the same pan, add broccoli and 2 tablespoons of water. Stir-fry and steam for 3–4 minutes until vibrant green and crisp-tender.
  5. Return the beef and juices to the pan, stir in sesame oil and fish sauce, and toss everything for 1–2 minutes until heated through.
  6. Plate the dish, garnishing with toasted sesame seeds, sliced green onions, and a spoonful of cauliflower rice if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
