Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups low-carb marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with almond flour, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them in a baking dish.
  4. Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  5. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until cooked through and cheese is bubbly.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil if desired before serving.

Notes

You can serve with a side salad or cauliflower rice for a complete meal. This casserole stores well in the refrigerator and can be frozen for later use.
