Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
- 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1/4 cup 2 percent milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 packages (3 ounces each) ladyfingers, split
- 1 tablespoon baking cocoa
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur. Set aside to let it cool.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar together until the mixture is smooth.
- To the cream cheese mix, beat in the sour cream, milk, and vanilla extract until everything is well-blended.
- Take one package of ladyfingers and layer them in an ungreased 11×7-inch dish.
- Use a brush to soak the ladyfingers with half of the coffee mixture. Make sure the ladyfingers soak up some flavor but do not get too soggy.
- Top the soaked ladyfingers with half of the cream cheese mixture, spreading it evenly.
- Repeat by layering the other package of ladyfingers, brushing them with the remaining coffee mixture, and topping with the cream cheese mixture.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, sprinkle the top with baking cocoa.
Notes
For best flavor, prepare the tiramisu a day in advance. Serve cold with a dollop of whipped cream or chocolate shavings.
