- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup malted milk powder
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- Flour for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth out creases.
- Brush melted butter over the pastry.
- Combine the malted milk powder, sugar, and chocolate chips in a small bowl, then sprinkle evenly over the pastry.
- Fold the sides of the pastry toward the center, then fold the two halves in half.
- Cut the pastry into 1/2-inch slices and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 14 to 16 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let them cool before serving.
Notes
Serve at room temperature for the best texture. For a healthier option, limit to one or two palmiers and add fresh fruit or Greek yogurt.
