Sausage Jalapeno Dip

Creamy and cheesy Sausage Jalapeno Dip, perfect for parties or cozy nights at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bulk Italian sausage
  • 2 large sweet red peppers, finely chopped
  • 3 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • Tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat for 6-8 minutes or until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  2. In a 3-quart slow cooker, combine cooked sausage, chopped red peppers, and chopped jalapenos.
  3. Pour in 1 cup of whole milk.
  4. Cover and slow cook on low heat for about 5-6 hours.
  5. Add softened cream cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese to the slow cooker.
  6. Cover and cook on low for an additional 30 minutes, until cheese is melted.
  7. Serve warm with tortilla chips for dipping.

Notes

Great for gatherings, can be kept warm in a slow cooker.
