- 1 pound bulk pork sausage
- 8 ounces sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1–1/2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- Chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package directions and set aside.
- In a large skillet, add the bulk pork sausage and cook over medium heat until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the sliced mushrooms, chopped onion, and minced garlic, cooking until tender.
- Sprinkle flour, salt, and paprika over the mixture, stirring until smooth.
- Gradually pour in the beef broth, bringing to a boil while stirring to avoid lumps.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Turn off heat and stir in sour cream until well mixed.
- Plate the cooked noodles and spoon the sausage stroganoff on top, then sprinkle with fresh parsley.
