Simple Macadamia Nut Fudge

A rich and creamy fudge made with chocolate and crunchy macadamia nuts, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1/2 cup butter, divided
  • 41/2 cups sugar
  • 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
  • 3 cups chopped macadamia nuts, divided
  • 12 ounces German sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 package (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 jar (7 ounces) marshmallow creme
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, optional

Instructions

  1. Line two 9-inch square pans with foil and butter the foil using 2 teaspoons of butter.
  2. In a large heavy saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, and remaining 1/2 cup of butter.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat.
  4. Cook for about 5 minutes while stirring constantly, to prevent burning.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in 2 cups of chopped macadamia nuts, German sweet chocolate, semisweet chocolate chips, marshmallow creme, vanilla extract, and salt if using.
  6. Mix until everything is well combined and melted.
  7. Pour the fudge mixture into prepared pans, sprinkle remaining macadamia nuts over the top, and gently press them in.
  8. Refrigerate until firm, about 2 to 3 hours.
  9. Lift the fudge out using the foil, discard the foil, and cut into 1-inch squares.

Notes

Store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature or freeze for up to three months.
