- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound bulk pork sausage
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced green pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Hot garlic bread, for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook and crumble the ground beef and sausage over medium heat until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
- Transfer the cooked meat to a 3-quart slow cooker using a slotted spoon.
- Stir in all remaining ingredients, except for the garlic bread.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 2-3 hours or until heated through.
- Serve warm with hot garlic bread for dipping. Enjoy!
