- 1 medium head green cabbage, shredded (about 8 cups)
- 1 cup shredded red cabbage
- 4 to 5 carrots, shredded
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar

- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded green cabbage and red cabbage.
- Add the shredded carrots to the cabbage mix and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrot mixture.
- Toss everything together until the vegetables are fully coated with the dressing.
- Cover the bowl or transfer the coleslaw to an airtight container.
- Refrigerate overnight to let the flavors blend.
Notes
For a sweeter twist, consider adding diced apples or pineapple. You can also add fresh herbs for extra flavor.
