Strawberry Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Strawberries: Puree the fresh strawberries in a food processor until smooth and set aside.
  2. Beat the Butter: In a stand mixer, beat the softened unsalted butter on medium speed until creamy and smooth, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the Sugar: Gradually add in the confectioners sugar and mix until just combined.
  4. Mix in Strawberry Puree and Vanilla: Add the strawberry puree and vanilla extract, and beat until light and fluffy, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Adjust Consistency: If too thick, add more strawberry puree or a splash of milk; if too thin, add more confectioners sugar.
  6. Enjoy or Store: Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
