4-Ingredient Strawberry Kiss Cookies

  • 1 (15.25-ounce) box strawberry cake mix
  • 1 large egg
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 24 Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped
  • 1/2 cup pink sanding sugar (optional, for rolling)
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, egg, and softened butter. Mix until just combined—avoid overmixing.
  3. Scoop the dough with a 1-tablespoon cookie scoop, roll into balls, and if desired, roll in pink sanding sugar. Place 2 inches apart on the baking sheets.
  4. Bake for 13-15 minutes, rotating the sheets halfway through. Cookies should appear set and not brown.
  5. Immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each warm cookie. Allow to cool on the baking sheets.
  6. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.

Notes
