- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup chocolate frosting
- Ghost-shaped marshmallows for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, and mix until just combined.
- Fill cupcake liners about 2/3 full with batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely.
- Once cool, frost each cupcake with chocolate frosting and top with toasted ghost-shaped marshmallows.
- For the marshmallows, use a kitchen torch or broiler to lightly toast until golden. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Serve with cold milk or hot cocoa for a cozy treat. These cupcakes can be made in advance and frozen for longer storage.
