Triple Berry Crisp

A delightful dessert featuring a mix of fresh raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries topped with a crunchy crumb topping.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold, diced into small pieces
  • 12 oz fresh raspberries
  • 11 oz fresh blueberries
  • 6 oz fresh blackberries
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Butter the baking dish to prevent sticking.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk well.
  4. Add cold diced butter and cut it into the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Refrigerate the crumb mixture while preparing the berries.
  6. Rinse the fresh berries and drain them, then transfer to the buttered baking dish.
  7. Mix together 1/3 cup granulated sugar and cornstarch in a small bowl. Pour over the berries and toss to coat.
  8. Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the berries.
  9. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
  10. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or yogurt for a delightful treat.
