Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in milk and vanilla extract until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface, pat into a rectangle, and cut into triangles or rounds.
- Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 18 to 23 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and milk until smooth.
- Drizzle glaze over the scones once cooled.

Serve warm for best texture; add cream cheese or nut butter for extra protein.
