Turmeric Ginger Spice Latte

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of your preferred milk (dairy, almond, oat, or cashew)
  • 2 teaspoons of ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • A pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix the milk, turmeric, and ginger in a saucepan and heat over medium, stirring until hot, about 5 minutes.
  2. If desired, froth the mixture with a frother or whisk.
  3. Remove from heat and add honey or maple syrup and black pepper if using.
  4. Pour into a mug and sprinkle cinnamon on top for extra warmth.
