- 1 teaspoon of grated fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
- A pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Mix the milk, turmeric, and ginger in a saucepan and heat over medium, stirring until hot, about 5 minutes.
- If desired, froth the mixture with a frother or whisk.
- Remove from heat and add honey or maple syrup and black pepper if using.
- Pour into a mug and sprinkle cinnamon on top for extra warmth.
