Vegan Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients

  • 1 package of silken tofu (1 pound or about 450g, drained)
  • 150 g dark chocolate (or other dairy-free chocolate)
  • 12 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate: Use a double boiler or microwave to melt the chocolate, stirring until fully melted.
  2. Blend the other ingredients: In a food processor, blend silken tofu, maple syrup, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Combine the chocolate: Add the melted chocolate to the tofu mixture and blend until creamy.
  4. Chill the mousse: Transfer to serving cups and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  5. Enjoy! Serve as is or with toppings of your choice.

Notes

This mousse can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for up to a month.
