Ingredients
Scale
- 17.3 ounces puff pastry (defrosted)
- ¼ cup Nutella (more or less as needed)
- 12 pretzel sticks
- 2 tablespoons milk for brushing
- 2 tablespoons sugar in the raw
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry and lightly flatten with a rolling pin.
- Cut dough into 12 rectangles (approx. 2 ¾ x 3 inches).
- Spread 1 tsp of Nutella onto 6 pieces of dough.
- Top each Nutella piece with a plain dough piece and press gently to seal.
- Turn each piece vertically and cut thin slits in the bottom half, leaving a ¼ to ⅓-inch border at the top.
- Wrap each piece around a pretzel stick, making sure the dough sticks well.
- Place on baking sheets and gently spread the slits to mimic broom bristles.
- Brush with milk and sprinkle sugar in the raw on top.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool completely before serving.
